Black Oak Amphitheater to host Little River Band and Ozark Mountain Daredevils, tickets on sale

Classic rock fans are in for a memorable summer night as Little River Band brings its timeless catalog of hits to Black Oak Amphitheater on Friday, June 19, with special guests The Ozark Mountain Daredevils.

 

Located in the scenic Ozarks just outside Lampe, Black Oak Amphitheater will host an evening celebrating two legendary bands whose music has defined generations of classic rock fans.

 

With more than five decades of success, Little River Band remains one of the most beloved groups in rock history. Known for their impeccable harmonies and polished sound, the band has produced a string of enduring hits, including “Reminiscing,” “Cool Change,” “Lonesome Loser,” “Take It Easy on Me,” and “Lady.” Their songs have earned worldwide acclaim and continue to receive extensive airplay on classic rock and adult contemporary radio.

 

Opening the show will be Springfield, Missouri’s own Ozark Mountain Daredevils, a pioneering group whose blend of rock, country, and folk helped define the “Ozarks sound.” With classic songs such as “Jackie Blue” and “If You Wanna Get to Heaven,” the Daredevils have built a loyal following over more than five decades and remain one of the region’s most treasured musical exports.

 

This special pairing brings together two bands whose music helped shape the soundtrack of the 1970s and beyond, promising an unforgettable night of sing-along favorites and legendary performances under the stars.

Headless Horseman rides into the Ozarks: A legendary Tale

 A haunting legend is making its way to the Ozarks. The Shepherd of the Hills is proud to announce the arrival of “Sleepy Hollow The Headless Horseman Rides Again,” an all-new live production bringing the classic haunted tale of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman to life in a thrilling outdoor theatrical experience. 

 

Set against the historic hills of the Old Mill Theater, this immersive retelling of Washington Irving’s timeless story promises a captivating blend of suspense, action, humor, and heart. Audiences will step into a world of flickering lanterns, galloping hooves, and eerie encounters as the legendary Headless Horseman rides under the Ozarks night sky. 

 

Building on a legacy of unforgettable live entertainment, The Shepherd of the Hills continues its tradition of larger-than-life storytelling with talented performers, atmospheric staging, and the natural beauty of an outdoor setting. Sleepy Hollow will feature high-energy chase scenes, authentic period costuming, and family-friendly thrills designed to keep guests on the edge of their seats. 

 

Perfect for families, couples, and groups looking for an unforgettable night of entertainment, Sleepy Hollow will run on select evenings in the fall season. Guests can spend the day enjoying PumpkinFest, featuring more than 30 fall activities, festive attractions, and family-friendly fun throughout the park. As evening arrives, visitors can wander through the glowing magic of Pumpkins Aglow, an enchanting nighttime walk, filled with illuminated pumpkins, whimsical displays, and softly lit trails that transform the Ozark hills into a glowing autumn wonderland. The evening then culminates with the thrilling outdoor production of Sleepy Hollow under the Ozark night sky.

Totes Against Trafficking to support Pathways Project

 

Twice each year, Totes Against Trafficking is the signature fundraising event for Pathways Project Coalition of the Ozarks. Proceeds from this initiative are used to directly support survivors of sex trafficking by funding critical client services such as safe housing, basic needs, and individualized care.

 

The Totes Against Trafficking Spring Tea & Totes Purse Bingo is scheduled for Sunday afternoon, April 26, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pointe Royale Clubhouse. Grab your girlfriends and plan to join Pathways for 12 bingo games and 12 chances to win beautiful springtime handbags, while enjoying delicious tea bites, a cash bar, and a silent auction. It’s the perfect girls’ afternoon out for spring—filled with fun, purses, and supporting a great cause as Pathways Project continues to fight trafficking in the Ozarks.
